The Florida Faculty & Staff Conference is a “mini-conference” embedded in the larger Meta Student Conference, connecting to the Metanarrative theme while creating space for college faculty and staff to engage with others from campuses around Florida. You will experience:
- unique content on the topic of Faith in the Academy
- stories from people with a long history and involvement in higher education
- engaging discussions around questions, situations, and topics that impact you
- networking and collaboration with other Christian Faculty & College Staff in Florida
Flourishing in the Academy
As faculty, administrators, or staff, you face tremendous pressures. As Christians, you long to be faithful to your callings in all areas of life. But the challenges are real. Whatever your position, InterVarsity’s Faculty Ministry has a vision to see you flourish and be a redeeming influence for Christ in the university. At this year's Florida Faculty & Staff Conference, we will engage together around the topic of flourishing in the Academy. What does it look like for you to flourish personally, but also to influence the flourishing of your institution? Join us as we learn from Scripture and from each other how to flourish a little more in this life God has called you to!

In addition to relevant, quality content, you will also have time to hear from other Florida faculty about the ways they are stewarding their calling as Christian faculty and engaging their campuses. While the Faculty Conference will officially end with lunch, you are welcome to join students for seminars, special interest gatherings, and the Saturday evening main session. As faculty, you are a source of great encouragement to students in what it means to follow Jesus after graduation. We would love for you to sit side-by-side with them as they learn how to live more fully surrendered to Jesus and hear Jesus call to engage their world, not just as participants, but as missionaries to their campus. |

Location.
The Florida Faculty & Staff Conference will be held at Calvario City Church in Orlando (2500 W Oak Ridge Road, Orlando, FL 32809)
Housing.
There are housing options available through the Meta Student Conference registration site at the La Quinta Inn near Universal Studios, which is a 15-minute drive from the conference location. You are also welcome to secure your own housing and use the link below to register for the Faculty Conference (Saturday only) or the entire Meta Student Conference weekend.
Cost.
Full Weekend with Housing at the Conference Hotel (La Quinta Inn) – $155 per person (double occupancy)
Full Weekend, No Housing – $45 per person
Faculty Conference – Saturday Only, Free.
